After giving his life to save Rose, the Doctor regenerates into a new man that Rose has to get to know all over again. The two meet Queen Victoria, Sarah Jane Smith, Madame de Pompadour, Torchwood and the Devil himself before Rose is trapped in a universe recovering from the rise of the Cybermen.
