Touched by the plight of the Arwells, the Doctor returns to Amy and Rory and invites them back onto the TARDIS, only to lose them to the Weeping Angels. The Doctor becomes a recluse, living on a cloud in 1892 London with no friends but the Paternoster Gang until an intriguing mystery presents itself in the form of Clara Oswald. Coming out of his self-imposed exile, the Doctor travels with Clara to find out how she died in both the Dalek Asylum and 1892.
